Author Guidelines

General Submission Requirements

Originality

The submitted manuscript must be the original work of the author, has not been published in any journal, Proceedings, or scientific media, and is not in the process of review elsewhere simultaneously.

Language

Manuscripts should be written in English. For authors not fluent in English, we recommend having the manuscript carefully read by an English-speaking colleague or a professional editing service before publication.

Theme Compatibility

The manuscript should be relevant to the established themes and subtopics of the conference. Manuscripts that do not have a substantial link to the IPPHILAW 2026 theme will not be considered for review.

Plagiarism

The degree of similarity of the manuscript should not exceed 20% based on plagiarism detection software checks. Manuscripts that exceed this threshold will be rejected without further review.

Number Of Authors

Each manuscript can be written by a maximum of 4 (four) authors. The corresponding author must be listed along with an active email address.

Submission Format

The manuscript is submitted in Microsoft Word format (.docx) and follows the official IPPHILAW 2026 template. Submissions in other formats will not be processed.

Poverty eradication, environmental justice, and intergenerational equity as enforceable legal standards in philanthropy.

Inclusivity in Legal Development

The systemic underrepresentation of marginalized communities, such as women, indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities.

Types of Submission

Abstract Only The abstract should describe the main objective(s) of the study. It should be informative and report the main results and conclusions. 200-250 Words
Full Paper Complete papers containing comprehensive scientific arguments, in-depth legal analysis, and evidence-based recommendations. Accepted manuscripts will be published in the Proceedings of the International Index. 4000 – 7000 Words

Manuscript Structure and Formatting

Title Max. 15 words; written with a capital letter at the beginning of the word (title case); reflects the substance of a specific legal argument
Author & Affliation Full name without academic degree; name of institution, City, Country; e-mail correspondence of the first author
Abstract 200-250 words (for full paper); contains background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions; does not use references or abbreviations; one whole paragraph
Keywords 5 keywords separated by semicolons;
Introduction The introduction should establish the context of the manuscript and enable readers outside the field to comprehend the study's purpose and importance. The problem should be defined, and the significance of the issue should be elucidated.
Methods Legal research approaches used (normative, empirical, comparative, or mixed); sources of legal materials; analytical techniques
Results & Discussion Exposure to findings, combined with in-depth legal analysis, may use sub-headings as per the argument framework
Conclusion Answer to the formulation of the problem; theoretical and practical implications; policy recommendations when relevant; do not repeat the content of the discussion
References A minimum of 25 references to the full paper, using the Chicago style 17th full note citation style.

Review System

All full paper manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process by qualified reviewers. The identities of both authors and reviewers will be concealed throughout the review process.

Evaluation Criteria

Originality and scholarly contribution; strength of legal arguments and analysis; relevance to the IPPHILAW 2026 theme; depth of literature review; clarity of legal research methodology; and quality of language and writing.

Review Outcomes

Manuscripts may be accepted without revision (accepted), accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, or rejected.

Revision Deadline

Authors are required to submit revised manuscripts within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of notification.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts will only undergo a selection process by the Scientific Committee based on thematic relevance, clarity of the problem statement, and the significance of the contribution. They will not be subject to a double-blind peer review process.
